Celebrating the Yukon’s people, cultures, businesses, and environment.

Built on a nearly twenty-year legacy, The Yukon Magazine stands as a mirror of life in the North, a reflection of its diverse stories, wild beauty, and spirit of independence and belonging.

Locally owned and operated by Manu Keggenhoff and Tammo Walter, and guided by Managing Editor Kanina Holmes, the magazine stays true to its trusted editorial spirit, energized by new ideas and a deepened commitment to real, authentic storytelling. “We are not changing the soul of the magazine, we are just giving it more room to breathe.”

Therese Lindsay competed in the World Masters Aquatics Championship in August.

Sherry MacInnis and her husband, Skip, literally tied the knot in a handfasting ceremony at Lake Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Our magazine was witness.

Charlie and Beth Hoeller give a new meaning to the term “deep dive” when it comes to magazine stories. The Yukon couple took a copy of our magazine to the ocean floor when they visited Bonaire, a Dutch island off the coast of Venezuela.

Marilyn Smith of Whitehorse and Kate Fisher of Atlin, B.C., travelled to Kashmir and Ladakh in northern India. They carried the magazine along the 27-kilometre path up and over Ganda La Pass. This photo of Kate was taken at 4,970 metres.
